The idea isn’t really too crazy since many people make traveling part of their retirement but we are starting this dream a little earlier than most people. A lot of it has to do with where we are in our lives, in our work, and the fact that Mike and I met a couple of years ago and want to share this great experience together. It’s also a time when our boys are grown (we both have sons), we both can take a break from our jobs, and consider ourselves in fairly good physical condition which we think is extremely important for this undertaking.
