I originally thought I could take what I had in my closet, but found that REI has special clothes and supplies for this type of travel. Let’s just say we are in the special elite group of REI customers. Less is better and we are still learning to stick with that policy. We haven’t packed everything yet but can tell that we will need to start streamlining! One of my closets is solely dedicated to our travel items. There are many cool websites, books and resources on this subject including Rick Steves’, our local travel guru. We will tell you what worked and what didn’t once we are on our way.
